Job Requirements:
Due to our overall business growth, we are currently seeking a candidate to fill the role of a Production Manager for our Allentown, Pa. facility. This position will be responsible for all aspects of production related to our business – from staffing and safety to P&L performance. We regularly operate on a 24/7 schedule, which requires detailed planning and scheduling to maintain our high levels of quality and service. CPS is dedicated to employee and customer satisfaction while maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Sustained growth is expected and the new production manager will play a pivotal role in our continued success.
- 5+ years of experience managing a fast-paced production type environment
- Printing, mailing, technical and card experience a plus
- Strong leadership skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong decision-making skills
- Ability to handle changing priorities and use of good judgement in stressful situations
- Safety/OSHA knowledge and understanding
- Excellent quantitative, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Interpersonal and teamwork skills
- Strong proficiency with Word, Excel and other reporting tools
- Capable of providing support to the plant on a 24/7 schedule
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Experienced with or the ability to create/work with performance metrics, process improvements and Lean manufacturing techniques
- Ability to create, train, and implement documents and SOPs
- Manage all plant employee staffing, training, performance evaluation, documentation and termination processes.
- Maintain a positive work environment
- Manage 50+ employees across multiple shifts on a 24/7 basis
- Support business and technical aspects of capital project improvements
