Attaching

CPS can employ any of three ways to attach cards to card carriers or letters. Our account managers work with clients to identify the ideal attaching method for their project.

• In-process attaching involves simultaneous computer tracking of letters/carriers and cards, which are attached via double-sided stickers.
• Off-line attaching is accomplished by using a flat belt to feed paper onto which cards are attached via gluing, or by using computers and barcode scanners.
• Hand attaching, exactly as it sounds, can be used for complicated or non-standard orders and can also be electronically verified.

Matching

Matching is the critical part of the packaging process that ensures every single card in an order is encoded properly and matched to its corresponding mail piece. CPS deploys a number of matching solutions, including in-line electronic tracking, barcode tracking, camera matching and hand matching with electronic verification.

Shrink Wrapping

There is no “one size fits all” for shrink wrapping. CPS  takes care to select the appropriate gauge, thickness and width of the wrapping itself, then employs an automated quality control process to confirm the quantity, sequence and labeling of every order. CPS employs the most advanced shrink wrapping with electronic verification solutions in the country.

Labeling
